Monthly books you can trust, cash you can see thirteen weeks out, and someone to call before you make the decision — not after.
The problem
How it works
Clarity
Books closed on a schedule, reconciled, and right. You stop wondering whether the numbers are real.
Momentum
Ledger, plus AP and AR run on a cadence. Bills paid on time, invoices chased, cash collected instead of hoped for.
Confidence
Rhythm, plus a CFO. A thirteen-week cash forecast, a monthly review, and someone in the room when the decision is big enough to matter.
Who you’re hiring
Ansel Michels
Principal
I’m the controller at a non-profit and the CFO and a part-owner of an environmental consulting firm — which means I spend my week doing for my own companies exactly what I’d do for yours: closing books, watching cash, and making calls with real money behind them. Before that I was a partner at a private equity firm.
I started Kalos because most owner-operated companies are paying for bookkeeping when what they actually need is someone to tell them what it means.
Common questions
Bring your last month’s P&L if you have it handy. If you don’t, that’s useful to know too.
